WMQFA Class: Beginning Weaving with Kallia Walkowiak
Complete a small mat in a color of your choice on a provided tabletop loom. You will learn to read a pattern, make a wrap, thread a loom, choose a weft, weave an article, and secure ends. At the end of class, you will take home our work, a copy of the pattern you used, and new knowledge of the ancient art of weaving.
*4-heddled tabletop loom, wrapping board, and shuttles supplied for use during class. If you have a 4-heddled tabletop loom that you would like to bring to class, please email a photo of the loom to education@wiquiltmuseum.com for approval.
