Porter is joined here by cellist and vocalist\, Mai Bloomfield\, vocalist Carmen Nickerson & multi-instrumentalist Ryan Pearl. The album was recorded live in the studio in two one-day sessions at East West Studios in Los Angeles & Ocean Way\, Nashville. It captures the powerful dynamics and musicality of this ensemble as they traverse some new material with rich multi-part vocal harmonies that ranges from new Americana to progressive folk and surrealist acoustic arrangements.
