DESCRIPTION:My name is Lindsay Bullis and I'm a self-taught artist from Milwaukee\, WI. I am the owner and face behind Whimsical Art by Lindsay! I create hand painted original acrylic paintings\, fine art prints\, custom paintings\, watercolor bookmarks\, murals and more! Many of my paintings are nature inspired but I do enjoy creating fantasy and whimsical themed works of art as well. I love painting pieces using vibrant colors\, detailed brushstrokes\, and my imagination to make art that looks magical. Every piece of my artwork I make comes from my heart and soul.\n\nI am a proud mother to my two sons\, a three-year-old and a 10-month-old. They are my biggest inspirations when I decided to take the plunge and turn my painting passion into a way I could make an income. I wanted to set an example that anything you want to do in life is possible and to never doubt yourself if you are passionate about something.\n\n \n\nI started painting and drawing in high school and I fell in love with it. I found the act of creating to be therapeutic for me and a good way to keep my mental health in a good space. Putting my thoughts and feelings into creating something helps me cope and transforms canvases to visual representations of who I am. It means everything to me to share my visions and relate to other people through my art.\n\n\n\nThe artist will be demonstrating at the CCC daily June 1-5: 10am-3pm
